When the risk level is high

The spread of infection is outside outbreak sites in the community, and the total number of infections is rapidly increasing. The objective is to ensure regular medical care and to avoid the need for extensive restrictions.

The risk levels have been agreed upon in the White Paper, i.e., in the plan for organising social life under the conditions of the spread of the coronavirus (in Estonian) »

Behaviour on other risk levels

Very high risk

Infections are very widespread in the community and the total number of infections is growing very fast.

Our goal is to provide emergency medical care and follow the restrictions so it would be possible to reopen society.

Medium risk

There are foci of infection in the community and the total number of infections is increasing.

Our goal is to prevent risk groups from becoming infected and avoid the need for restrictions.

Low risk

The coronavirus is spreading in the community in isolated cases of known origin but the risk of wider spread remains.

Our goal is to prevent the virus from spreading and to remain vigilant so that there is no need for restrictions.
