Tallinn, Stenbock House, 27 April 2020 – At the cabinet meeting, members of the Government discussed the possibility of organising crowded events in the spring/summer season, and approved the decision pursuant to which no public events will be held in Estonia in May and June.
The decision that no major events will be held in Estonia until 31 August was also approved at the cabinet meeting.
Since, based on current data, it is not possible to say whether events with a limited number of visitors can be held in July and August, then no position was adopted in this regard. Members of the Government will adopt a decision in May on the possibility of and conditions for holding public events.
Positions of the Government are in conformity with recommendations of the scientific advisory board.
